Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required to secure your reservation.
1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event. An invoice will be sent 10-14 days prior to the event date. Please review the invoice carefully and inform us immediately of any discrepancies, as it will serve as our checklist during the decoration process.
1.3 Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer or card payment link.
1.4 Quote Validity: Any quotes provided are valid for 24 hours, and prices may change thereafter.
1.5 VAT: All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable, which will be added at the prevailing rate.
2. Cancelations and Refunds
2.1 Cancelation by Client: Deposits are non-refundable. If the event is canceled within 7 days of the scheduled date, no refund will be issued.
2.2 Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule the event must be made in writing at least 8 days prior to the original date. We will make every effort to accommodate the requested changes, but availability cannot be guaranteed. If we are unavailable on the new date, no refund will be offered.
2.3 Cancelation by Company: In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as soon as possible and a full refund will be provided.
3. Order Alterations
3.1 Alteration Period: Changes to the original order can be made up to 7 days before the event. After this period, any alterations may incur additional charges.
4. Access and Setup
4.1 Venue Access: It is essential to provide the contact details of the venue and keyholder to arrange a suitable setup time. Balloon decorating is time-sensitive, and access may be required earlier than anticipated. We are not responsible for issues arising from delayed access. Additional charges may apply if we cannot access the venue at the agreed time.
4.2 Setup Requirements: A flat, solid space is required for setup. We will not set up on uneven ground. A 12V electrical 3-pin UK plug socket will be needed if the installation includes neon signs or LED numbers.
4.3 Collection Times: If the venue requires collection outside of standard hours (9 am to 5 pm), please inform us upon booking. Additional fees may apply.
4.4 Outdoor Events: For outdoor events, we are not liable for balloon damage due to weather conditions. Our electrical props and equipment are not designed for outdoor use even in the summer months.
5. Equipment and Prop Hire
5.1 Responsibility: The client is responsible for the safekeeping and return of any hired or loaned equipment, including props, fixings, and display pieces, unless otherwise agreed.
5.2 Damage or Loss: Any damage to or loss of our equipment during the hire period will result in additional charges to cover repair or replacement costs and the total loss of any deposits held.
5.3 Use and Care of Props: Props should not be altered, modified, or repaired without prior written consent from us. The client must ensure that props are protected from adverse weather conditions, theft, or any other potential risks during the hire period.
6. Collection and Return
6.1 Delivery and Collection: Props will be delivered and collected by us at the agreed-upon times and locations.
6.2 Client Presence: The client must ensure that someone is present at the designated location to receive or return the props during the agreed-upon time slots.
6.3 Late Returns: Any props not returned within the specified timeframe may incur additional charges.
7. Liability
7.1 Post-Setup Responsibility: Once decorations are installed, we are not liable for any damage caused to or by the balloons. Please refer to our Balloon Care Guide for maintenance tips.
7.2 Health and Safety: Balloons are not toys and can pose choking hazards. Please ensure they are kept away from children and pets.
7.3 Command Hooks: If command hooks are used for installations, we do not accept liability for any damage they may cause or if they fail to adhere properly to the surface provided.
7.4 Client Indemnity: The client agrees to take responsibility for and protect us against any claims, damages, or costs that may result from the use of our props or equipment.
8. Photography and Promotion
8.1 Event Photography: We reserve the right to photograph the event setup and use the images for promotional purposes.
8.2 Client Photos: With your permission, we may use photos you provide for promotional purposes.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
10. Acceptance of Terms
10.1 By confirming a booking and making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
